Dr. Daniel Hanson

Born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, Dr. Daniel Hanson is ecstatic to now call Wilmington home. He graduated from James Madison University with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training and a Pre-PT focus. Inspired by the human frame and the body’s ability to sustain life, he went on to study chiropractic at Life University in Atlanta, GA, the largest chiropractic school in the world. With a heart for health, free from unnecessary drugs and surgery, Dr. Hanson immediately began learning the Gonstead system of chiropractic analysis. The outstanding impact that a chiropractor provides with a specific, scientific adjustment can have on the expression of life and vitality continues to amaze Dr. Hanson. He is constantly reminded of how beautiful we are, being made in God's own image. After graduating with a Doctorate of Chiropractic, Dr. Hanson spent time learning the business behind chiropractic before moving to Wilmington to join the love of his life’s family practice, Healing Hands Chiro-prak-tik.

Through his studies as an athletic trainer, Dr. Hanson had the fortune to work with athletes struggling not only with injuries from concussions to sprained ankles, but also with emotional, nutritional, and psychosocial difficulties. Through his professional experience in biomechanics, injury management, and rehabilitation, Dr. Hanson has seen which interventions work, and understands the need for a more holistic approach. He recognizes that our bodies are intelligent and healthy by design. Believing that we all have unique, God-given value, Dr. Hanson strives to guide people to great health and exceptional lives. Through natural, chiropractic care, Dr. Hanson aims to step alongside the innate healing potential within each of us to aid patients in beginning, returning to, or continuing on the journey through health.
